Viacom pay channels return to TVPlayer

by RXTV-newsdesk

Premium services from Viacom have returned to the TVPlayer this month, with the arrival of three channels.

TVPlayer Premium subscribers have gained access to MTV, Comedy Central and Comedy Central Extra.

The new additions reverse a recent decline in available channels on the streaming service. Over the past 18 months, a number of services left TVPlayer, as carriage deals with Discovery, NBCUniversal, UKTV and Viacom expired.

Under new management, premium channels from Discovery returned in June. TVPlayer currently offers up to 52 channels, including Travel Channel and French-language TV5MONDE, both of which are no longer on Sky.

TVPlayer Premium is available for £6.99 a month or £69.99 for an annual subscription. It’s available at www.tvplayer.com as well as through a number of connected devices. Compatible devices include Android mobiles and tablets, Apple TV, Chromecast, Fire TV and iOS devices.
