BT corrects an anomaly that was created when it launched its new Now TV-based packages.
BT TV customers no longer have to choose between Eurosport and staying on its classic TV package or switching to the new Now TV platform and surrendering Eurosport.
From today, BT TV customers with the Big Sport or VIP packages can now access Eurosport 1 and 2 alongside Sky and BT Sport channels. Eurosport 1 and 2 are available in standard definition on channels 412 and 413. The HD versions are found on channels 435 and 436, although Big Sport customers will need the HD add-on for high definition access.
The two Eurosport channels are being added at no extra cost to Big Sport / VIP customers. However, BT is increasing some of its prices from the end of March.
Announcing the move, Siena Pakington, Content Director at BT, said:
“The addition of Eurosport to our flexible TV packages makes BT TV the destination for sports fans. With an exciting spring and summer of sport coming up, our customers will be ready to enjoy all the action from the comfort of their own home.”
