The operator of a network of local channels in England, Wales and Scotland has launched a six week Christmas service, also available nationally on Sky and Freesat.

That’s TV and That’s TV Gold are now That’s TV Christmas, with seasonal music, plus reruns of Benny Hill and The Kenny Everett Show. It’s the first time in nearly two decades that Benny Hill has been shown on UK TV. The channel also offers the chance to watch classic Carry On Christmas specials.

There are two versions of the channel, depending on where you live. That’s because That’s TV originally launched as a local TV service in 20 locations around the UK. It has now also launched a national version of its channel.

The service is available on Freeview channel 7 or 8 in areas including Blackpool & Preston, Cambridge, Carlisle (channel 8), Grimsby, Guildford, Manchester, Norwich, Oxford, Salisbury, Scarborough, Solent, Swansea (channel 8), Thames Valley, York (channel 8). It is also available in the following Scottish locations on channel 8: Aberdeen, Ayr, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
