The streaming home of funny fail videos and pranks is being added to compatible Freeview devices.
FailArmy first launched in 2011. Since then it’s been discovering, curating and bringing viewers the “freshest, funniest and most outrageous fail videos on the internet.” In essence, the service is a modern day ‘You’ve Been Framed‘ for the streaming generation.
In recent years, the Jukin Media-owned service has gained carriage across a number of streaming platforms and devices, including some smart TVs.
For those devices that don’t already have the FailArmy app, the service is launching as an HbbTV app on Freeview channel 274. FailArmy will be compatible with all TVs and boxes that support Freeview Play. It is also will be available on certain non-Freeview Play TVs that support Freeview streaming services.
FailArmy’s line up consists of playlists or compilations of fails and pranks, including its Best Fails of the Month. There’s also themed playlists including Fail Factory | Chill Out, which demonstrates reasons to stay indoors in winter.
Viewers may need to retune to add the new service.
