Channelbox has added comedy channel Twisted Mirror to its portfolio of free-to-view streaming channels on connected Freeview TVs and boxes.
Twisted Mirror offers viewers a range of films, series and stand-up comedy from the world’s biggest comedians on a range of streaming devices. The channel’s current library of stand-up comedy includes Everyone Loves Chris Rock, Adam Sandler: Funny Guy and Al Murray: Pub Landlord.
Twisted Mirror is already available on Samsung TV Plus (channel 4138) and LG Channels (200), but the arrival on Channelbox means the majority of owners of a Freeview Play TV or box can now also access the channel.
Channelbox is available through Freeview channel 271. A small number of non-Freeview Play TVs are also compatible with the service.
The Channelbox service specialises in offering a variety of free-to-view channels from around the world to Freeview users. These include channels specifically designed for streaming platforms such as Twisted Mirror. But Channelbox also contains long established linear TV channels like Euronews and France 24, giving them an opportunity to reach Freeview audiences.
