Cable TV subscribers can now access NBC News Now on their Virgin 360 or V6 box.
The launch comes weeks after NBC News Now made its UK debut on Sky. From late morning through into the night UK time, the channel offers rolling news. Weekend schedules include replays of news magazine Dateline, weekend editions of Today and Meet The Press.
Virgin Media viewers can now access the NBC News Now on channel 614. The channel is exclusively broadcast in HD.
A day after launching on Sky, NBC News confirmed the UK feed of the channel would be ad-supported. The broadcaster also confirmed at that point that the channel would also become available on Virgin Media.
As before, non-subscribers can stream NBC News Now online, including through the NBC News app.
Virgin Media has not commented on the channel’s launch.
