The African broadcaster was one of three channels booted off Sky’s channel list on Monday in a move usually reserved for two reasons.
Viewers can now resume watching Channel 7 on Sky channel 181 after it was re-added on Wednesday morning. The channel offers viewers a selection of general entertainment programmes from African broadcasters, and is a result of the former standalone BEN, Channel 7 and Yanga TV channels coming together as one.
Sky removed Channel 7, alongside Sanskar and Ahlulbayt TV on Monday morning without notice.
Such action will only take place if the affected broadcasters are technically unable to provide a compliant service or if they have fallen behind on EPG listing fees.
Sanskar was reinstated yesterday, but Ahlulbayt remains (as of 10:30am) off the channel list.
Arise Play dropped off Sky last month and has shown no immediate signs of return.
