When visitors leave comments on the site or use the ‘contact us’ form, we collect the data shown on the form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. The data, excluding the IP address, collected on a comments form is used to display the comment on the website. 4. Social Media sharing buttons
On our website we offer you the possibility to use so-called “Social Media Buttons”.
To protect your data, we use a solution called “Shariff”. Hereby the share buttons are implemented as static images, which contain a link to the corresponding social network site.
If you click on such a button, you will be redirected to the respective social network site in the same way, as normal links would do as well. Only in that moment of time the provider of the social network site will get information about you, for example your IP address.
If you do not click on such a share button, no data will be transmitted. Information about the collection and usage of your date on the social network sites can be found in the corresponding terms of use of the respective provider. More information about the plugin and the Shariff solution can be found here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/shariff/
Shariff was developed in Germany.
5. Google Fonts
To protect your privacy, we now self-host the Google Fonts used by this website.
6. Delivery and measurement of digital advertising; details of our ad
partners
Many websites and apps including this one use Google services to improve their content and keep it free. When they integrate our services, these sites and apps share information with Google.
For example, when you visit a website that uses advertising services such as AdSense, including analytics tools such as Google Analytics, or embeds video content from YouTube, your web browser automatically sends certain information to Google. This includes the URL of the page that you’re visiting and your IP address. Google may also set cookies on your browser or read cookies that are already there. Apps that use Google advertising services also share information with Google, such as the name of the app and a unique identifier for advertising.

You can change your Google privacy settings via ‘My Ad Center‘. Changes to your settings will apply across the internet.
Chrome Privacy Sandbox
Ad partner Google is experimenting with new ways of supporting the delivery and measurement of digital advertising in ways that better protect people’s privacy online via Chrome’s Privacy Sandbox initiative.
If you use Chrome, Google may have invited you to participate in Chrome’s Privacy Sandbox origin trials. You may see relevant ads from Google based on Topics or FLEDGE data stored on, or shared with, their browser. Google may also measure ad performance using Attribution reporting data stored on, or shared with, their browsers. More information on the Privacy Sandbox.
Details of ad technology vendors & privacy policies
You can see a live list of ad technology partners when you click on the blue privacy button at the bottom of the screen. Once the privacy banner has loaded, click on ‘Partners’ in the bottom left.

Anonymous data may be shared with Google for statistical and monitoring purposes, in order to identify trends, browser and device type being used and to improve services. For example, knowing which browsers are being used on which devices will influence decisions on how we develop the website. You can adjust your preferences via the blue privacy tab in the bottom right at any time. We also need to collect basic browsing data to identify and block malicious traffic sources.
