Sky Satellite & Stream
Sky users in the UK can access the full set of BBC TV nations and regions directly from the channel list.
Republic of Ireland: only the Northern Irish versions of BBC One and Two are available on Sky. Do not use this table. You’ll need to manually tune your Sky satellite receiver to add any other BBC region.
All BBC channels are in HD.
⚠ Your local BBC channels will appear on channel 101/102 in your region. For example, a viewer in Wales will see BBC One and Two Wales on 101/102 instead of 965/968.

Freesat
On Freesat, BBC Nations and Regions can be accessed from the channel list, regardless of where you are in the UK. The following table will show you where to find each service. All BBC channels are in HD.

Virgin Media UK
On Virgin Media, it is possible to access the BBC Nations via cable.
The following table will show you where to find these services. In some areas of England, Virgin Media also makes your neighbouring BBC region available on channel 858.

Freeview
On Freeview it is normally only possible to receive another BBC region if you live in an area that receives signals from more than one region. In that case, you’ll see one regional version of BBC One on channel 1/101 and another regional version in the 800 channel range.
Otherwise, you can access other BBC regions using the iPlayer app built in to all Freeview Play receivers. This option is not available on older Freeview receivers.
If you want to watch a live stream of BBC One or BBC Two for a different nation/region:
On the BBC iPlayer TV app, you can change your location by going to Settings. Then select Change Location. You’ll see a list of the available BBC Nations and Regions. Once you have changed these settings, when you select BBC One, for example, you’ll get the version of BBC One for the nation/region you’ve selected.
If you want to watch BBC Scotland or BBC Alba
There is no need to make any changes to the settings. Both channels are available UK wide. You’ll find them listed in the channels area of the iPlayer.
Online (including mobile app)
If you want to watch a live stream of BBC One or BBC Two for a different nation/region:
On the BBC iPlayer website on your computer, mobile or tablet, go to the Change Location option. It is located at the bottom left of the BBC iPlayer page. You’ll see a list of the available BBC Nations and Regions. Once you have changed these settings, when you select BBC One, for example, you’ll get the version of BBC One for the nation/region you’ve selected.
On mobiles and tablets, you can change your location by going to Settings and selecting Change Location. Once you have changed these settings, when you select BBC One, for example, you’ll get the version of BBC One for the nation/region you’ve selected.
If you want to watch a regional programme on-demand
There is no need to make changes to the settings. You can search for regional programmes in the iPlayer search tool.
If you want to watch BBC Scotland or BBC Alba
Both channels are available UK wide. You’ll find them listed in the channels area of the iPlayer.
