DAZN secures exclusive FIFA Club World Cup rights

4 December 2024

Next year’s FIFA Club World Cup event will be streamed by DAZN around the world in an exclusive rights deal.

  • Sports streamer will make games available to watch for free in deal with FIFA.
  • DAZN has the option to sublicense games to local free-to-air broadcasters.

The agreement between FIFA and DAZN will see all 63 matches at the tournament live streamed for free on DAZN around the world.

The FIFA Club World Cup involves 32 of the best clubs worldwide. The draw for the tournament will also be streamed live on DAZN on 5th December.

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 kicks off on 15th June 2025 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, and will bring together the 32 leading club sides from all over the world – among them Chelsea, Manchester City, PSG and Real Madrid – for matches to be played in 12 venues across the US over a 29-day period, culminating with the final at MetLife Stadium, New York New Jersey on 13th July.

The deal includes an option for DAZN to sublicense the rights to local free-to-air linear broadcast networks. Where such deals are struck, the local broadcaster would screen coverage on a non-exclusive basis alongside DAZN.

In the UK, DAZN is exclusively available as a streaming app after its linear channel on Sky closed.

Wider partnership between DAZN and FIFA

The two organisations have also confirmed that FIFA’s streaming channel FIFA+ will be incorporated into DAZN’s streaming service.

FIFA+ offers footage from FIFA’s library of iconic football moments and full-match replays, as well as live fixtures.
