Following its departure from Freeview, factual entertainment channel GREAT! Real has relaunched as a free streaming service.

In what is being billed as a “bold move to reshape the UK’s entertainment landscape”, Narrative Entertainment and Netgem have confirmed the launch of GREAT! real on Netgem TV.
GREAT! real was withdrawn from Freeview and Sky back in August, but now reappears as a Free Ad-supported Streaming TV (FAST) channel.
As before, GREAT! real promises to bring audiences engaging, action-packed real-life stories. The channel adds to Netgem’s bouquet of over 130 high-quality streaming channels on Netgem TV.
The launch is part of a broader initiative by Netgem to provide viewers with seamless
access to quality content as traditional broadcasting methods evolve. Netgem continues to
deliver its strategy by onboarding more hybrid and OTT content, including channels
previously available on Freeview, ensuring that audiences can still enjoy their favourite
programming through streaming channels.
Netgem is making GREAT! real FAST channel exclusively available on its platform, with no subscription fees required. This approach ensures that quality content is more accessible than ever across multiple connected devices, reflecting the growing demand for flexible viewing options.
The GREAT! real channel can be accessed via Netgem’s Teleco partners, including TalkTalk (TalkTalk TV Netgem boxes only), Brsk (better TV), Community Fibre (Community Fibre TV), Connect Fibre (Connect TV), and many more.
