ITV confirms free-to-air Carabao Cup semi-final schedule

As part of a deal between the EFL, Sky Sports and ITV, selected Carabao Cup games are available free-to-air.

  • Arsenal v Newcastle United first leg on ITV1 and ITVX
  • Sky Sports will have full coverage of all matches.

The schedule for the Semi-Finals of the Carabao Cup has now been confirmed, with the ties to be played across two legs on the weeks commencing 6th January and 3rd February.

All ties will be broadcast live on Sky Sports as part of a comprehensive deal between the EFL and Sky.

But two games will be broadcast for free on ITV1 and ITVX, starting with coverage of the first leg of Arsenal v Newcastle (Tuesday 7th January) and continuing with the second leg of Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur (Thursday 6th February).

Sky Sports will show Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool’s first leg game on Wednesday 8th January and the Newcastle United v Arsenal second leg match on Wednesday 5th February 2025. Both games will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.

This year’s final will take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 16 March 2025.

The existing terrestrial linear broadcast of POP is closing and moves to channel 790 [COM6/ArqB] following a retune.

Depending on your device, you may need to retune to continue watching this channel. It may be longer available in your area.

  • 287: Nolly Africa Hybrid streaming channel moves from COM4/SDN to Local/Comux.
