New Channels coming to Pluto TV

Classic comedy, quiz shows and a whole channel dedicated to daytime home hunting series Escape to the Country rolling out on Pluto TV following a deal with producers Fremantle.

  • Deal encompasses 25 streaming channels across 13 countries

Fremantle has signed a global deal with Pluto TV to distribute 25 streaming channels across 13 countries, with each channel being specifically curated for individual markets.  The expansion of Fremantle’s partnership with Pluto TV will see 24 of the company’s most popular free streaming channels premiere in the UK, the US, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Italy, San Marino, Demark, Norway, Finland and Sweden.

The deal also includes the launch of an all-new channel – Escape to the Country – in the UK, showcasing the factual entertainment show that sees families seeking the perfect home in the British countryside.

Fremantle’s deal with Pluto TV also includes a global rollout of the Three’s Company channel, featuring the classic comedy from 1977-1983, starting with Canada in summer, followed by other countries later on.

The 25 channels to be distributed across 13 countries also include Baywatch, Supermarket Sweep, Family Feud Classic, Let’s Make a Deal, The Price is Right: Bob Barker, The Price is Right: Drew Carey, Alarm Für Cobra [Germany], Project Runway, Prisoner and Jamie Oliver.

Pluto TV users can expect Fremantle’s channels to start appearing on the platform in the coming weeks.

Fremantle already offers some of its streaming channels on other platforms.
