Paramount’s Pluto TV launches new UK channels

5 April 2024
  • Free streaming service updates its channel offer with a new crime drama channel, a channel with non-stop car chases and a new Monster Jam channel.

Paramount’s streaming platform Pluto TV has started April with the launch of new free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels.

The new additions built on the existing library of free-to-stream channels ahead of the planned UK merger of My5 and Pluto TV.

Among the new additions is the Monster Jam channel, which is also in the process of rolling out internationally on Pluto TV.

Viewers can relive the Monster Jam World Finals II and III, where Tom Meents swept both the Racing and Freestyle competitions, a feat only the most decorated champion in Monster Jam history has accomplished and one that has not been duplicated since 2002.

In addition, the current season of programming includes: 1-hour stadium event episodes, 30-minute arena episodes and Inside Monster Jam, the official Monster Jam video podcast featuring exclusive inside access to Monster Jam drivers, track designs, the Monster Jam Garage, and more.

Amy Kuessner, EVP of programming for Pluto TV commented:

Pluto TV is bringing the adrenaline-fueled world of monster trucks to our domestic and international audiences with the addition of Monster Jam. As a leader in the FAST space, Pluto TV knows a thing or two about speed, and we are confident that viewers around the world will enjoy this new action-packed channel.”

Other new channels

New on Pluto TV this month is the Pluto Crime Drama channel, where viewers can watch hit US dramas including Law & Order and CSI: Miami.

The new Car Chase channel is where viewers can watch adrenaline-fueled car chases and high-speed drama 24/7.

Meanwhile the non-stop Geordie Shore channel returns to Pluto TV. Here, viewers can watch episodes of the North East England-based MTV reality series from the beginning.

Funny AF showcases comedy series, including Hot in Cleveland, plus Thailand-based editions of cult game show Takeshi’s Castle.

New channels are initially found in the ‘New to Pluto TV’ section before moving to the relevant genre on the Pluto TV channel list.
