Virgin Media adds TNT Sports to O2 Extras

9 October 2025

O2 customers in the UK can add premium sport from TNT Sports to their O2 plan, on a 30-day rolling contract basis.

  • Cheaper access to TNT Sports for some users.
  • Live and exclusive access to Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League and more
  • Rolling 30 day subscription option

Virgin Media O2 has partnered with Warner Bros Discovery to offer TNT Sports to O2 pay monthly customers for £26.99/month via Discovery+, £4 a month cheaper compared to the standard £30.99 TNT Sports standalone Discovery+ subscription.

The deal includes a rolling 30-day contract and an additional £2 discount on the customer’s O2 airtime plan.

Subscribers gain access to a wide range of sports, including:

  • Football: Premier League exclusives, UEFA Champions, Europa and Conference Leagues, Emirates FA Cup, and Adobe Women’s FA Cup.
  • Rugby: Gallagher Premiership, Quilter Nations Series, and Premiership Women’s Rugby.
  • Other Sports: The Ashes, Australian Open, Roland-Garros, Tour de France, MotoGP season, World Snooker Tour, plus tennis and cycling coverage.

How to access the offer

You’ll need to be an O2 pay monthly customer in the UK.

To unlock the offer, simply purchase a TNT Sports subscription via the O2 Extras offer page in MyO2. You’ll need to create a separate discovery+ account in the process.

If you’re just about to join O2 or upgrading to a new plan, you can choose TNT Sports as a paid Extra when completing your order online, in store or over the phone.

How am I billed?

O2 Extras appear on a your monthly bill alongside your Airtime plan.

Corporate comment

David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, said:

“Sport has a special way of bringing people together, and now for the first time, we’re expanding O2 Extras to include a sport subscription. With our new TNT Sports offering, O2 customers can enjoy every moment for less. For just £26.99 a month, families can gather round for epic football, rugby and tennis matches, as well as saving £2 on their monthly Airtime bill. The sporting action is just a tap away.”

The sport subscription is the newest service to join O2 Extra’s extensive catalogue and sits alongside Extras from Disney+ (£5.99 per month) and Amazon Prime (£8.99 per month).
