Virgin Media offers MUBI film app discount

2 February 2025

Until 9th February 2025, Virgin Media TV customers in the UK can enjoy three months of award-winning content from MUBI for only £1.

  • Cable TV company discounts streaming service featuring premium independent cinema and award-wining titles.

Virgin Media starts February with a time-limited discount offer for MUBI, which is available on Virgin TV 360 or Stream boxes only.

Customers who don’t yet have MUBI can sign up until 9th February for three months access for £1, through a special deal offered by Virgin Media. A monthly subscription normally costs £11.99 a month.

A special arrangement applies because Virgin Media doesn’t bill customers directly for MUBI.

How to get the discount

To access the offer, go to the MUBI app on your TV 360 or Stream box. You can then access the offer via a QR code that should be visible.

However, the offer is only available to customers who don’t already subscribe to MUBI.

MUBI is home to premium independent and award-winning content. It has a library of hundreds of titles to get stuck into. Customers can enjoy movies such as five-time Oscar nominated film The Substance starring Demi Moore, Past Lives, Aftersun, Priscilla and La Chimera. And fresh from cinemas, Luca Guadagnino’s Queer, starring Daniel Craig, has just arrived.

Corporate comment

David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, said:

“Virgin TV is the home of great value entertainment. Whether it’s providing our customers with access to channels or content at no extra cost, or offering opportunities to enjoy popular subscriptions for less, we’re always looking to give our customers something extra to enjoy. That’s why this awards season we are offering our customers a money-saving reward with MUBI, delivering them Oscar nominated content and more for only £1 over three months.”
