Virgin Media welcomes Tubi app

Virgin Media users no longer have to switch devices to access Tubi's catalogue of over 60,000 movies and TV episodes.
3 December 2025

Tubi, the free ad‑supported streaming service owned by Rupert Murdoch’s Fox, has officially arrived on Virgin Media TV.

The addition means Virgin Media customers can now access Tubi’s extensive catalogue directly through their TV receivers, without needing a separate device. The service offers more than 60,000 movies and TV episodes spanning action, thriller, comedy, and horror. Titles available in December include Zombieland, Baby Driver, Bend It Like Beckham, Jack and Jill, Robin Hood (2018), and La La Land.

Tubi first launched in the UK last year, but until now Virgin Media viewers had to stream via mobiles, tablets, or smart TVs. Virgin Media says the integration on its own receivers comes at no extra cost—though Tubi itself is free to use.

What’s on Tubi?

Alongside acquired films and series, the platform features Tubi Originals such as the documentary Naomi Osaka: The Second Set and Destry Allyn Spielberg’s directorial debut Please Don’t Feed the Children, starring Michelle Dockery. Other highlights include Sidelined: The QB and Me and its sequel Sidelined 2: Intercepted, reuniting stars Noah Beck and Siena Agudong, with new cast members including Charlie Gillespie (Julie and the Phantoms), Sage Linder (Descendants 3), Roan Curtis (Firefly Lane), James Van Der Beek (Pose), and Drew Ray Tanner (Riverdale).

While most viewing on Tubi is on‑demand, the service has recently introduced more than 30 FAST (free ad‑supported streaming TV) channels in partnership with Lionsgate, A&E, Banijay, and Filmrise, offering audiences a lean‑back, live‑style experience.

Ross Appleton, General Manager UK at Tubi, said:

“Our partnership with Virgin Media enables us to connect more UK viewers with free movies and TV series they’re passionate about. … Virgin Media is an ideal home for Tubi’s expansive catalogue, and together we’re offering audiences greater choice through a seamless and easily accessible TV experience.”

David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, added:

“Our goal at Virgin TV is to curate high‑quality entertainment and world‑leading programming for our customers. … We are delighted to add Tubi to our offering, giving Virgin TV customers access to one of the world’s biggest collections of movies, TV shows and documentaries at absolutely no extra cost.”
