Throughout December, all Virgin TV customers in the UK can watch a range of entertainment on its Ultra HD channel at no extra cost.
The Virgin 4K UHD channel (Virgin TV channel 175/999) will be free for the whole month, regardless of your Virgin TV package. The channel is also available on TVs that don’t support Ultra HD – the picture is downscaled to HD.
What’s on?
Each afternoon, Virgin’s UHD channel will feature a family film. Then at 8pm, its documentary time. That’s followed at 9pm by a nightly feature film.
Films and documentaries coming on the UHD channel include:
- Hook,
- Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
- Hacksaw Ridge,
- Billy and Dom Eat the World
This offer is available to Virgin customers with an active TV subscription using a Stream, TV360 or V6 box. The free period covers all of December, plus 1 January. On 2 January 2026, the channel will again become restricted to viewers with the appropriate subscription package.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, commented:
“For so many of our customers this time of the year is all about coming together and spending quality time with loved ones. So, Virgin TV is gifting them the opportunity to unwind and watch their favourite films and shows together in UHD, at no extra cost this festive season.”
