BBC to air FA Cup Easter quarter final double bill

16 March 2026

BBC One will dedicate Easter Saturday to the FA Cup, with coverage of two of the four quarter finals on the channel and iPlayer.

  • Live coverage of Port Vale’s visit to Chelsea
  • Southampton getting primetime BBC coverage
  • HBO Max will stream its first FA Cup games

FA Cup quarter final coverage of Chelsea v Port Vale and Southampton v Arsenal will be made available on a free-to-air/free-to-stream basis across the UK this Easter Weekend.

The BBC has cleared its Easter Saturday teatime and primetime schedule for back-to-back coverage of both quarter finals. Highlights of both FA Cup quarter final games, plus the midday pay TV exclusive between Manchester City and Liverpool will feature on Match of the Day.

For the quarter finals of both men’s and women’s FA Cup competitions, HBO Max will make its streaming debut. It takes over as the home of TNT Sports in the UK and Ireland from next week. Discovery+ subscribers will need to migrate to HBO Max to continue watching coverage of the FA Cup.
