Virgin Media announces it’s making an exclusive rugby channel available to all of its cable and streaming TV customers at no extra cost.

Previously required a separate Premier Sports subscription
Virgin TV customers and rugby fans can now look forward more rugby coverage without needing an extra subscription.
The company confirmed that its TV subscribers now have access to Premier Sports Rugby on channel 553, giving access to the following events:
- the Investec Champions Cup,
- United Rugby Championship (URC),
- EPCR Challenge Cup,
- Top 14 (France),
- Major League Rugby
- and Japan Rugby League One
…and more.
Previously, the channel was previously only available to viewers who were subscribed to Premier Sports.

Virgin Media offers a traditional cable TV service in the UK alongside Flex, a product that delivers TV services via streaming.
