Movies 24 has made its seasonal switch, becoming the latest channel to get its decorations out.
For the next three months, the two channel service is known as ‘Christmas 24’ and ‘Christmas 24 +’ on both Sky and Virgin Media channel line-ups. With an average monthly reach of one million viewers, the majority of which in the 35-55 age bracket, the pay TV channel specialises in ‘feel good’ movies.
The NBCUniversal-owned channel has made its seasonal switch two weeks earlier than last year. Despite this, it is behind GREAT! movies Christmas which went into Christmas mode last month. Originally, viewers had to wait until the very end of October before Movies 24 made the switch.

The plus service is not a traditional +1 timeshift channel.
