Netgem TV and culinary TV service Gusto TV have teamed up to launch Gusto TV to users in the UK and Ireland.
The channel is now available on Netgem’s Freeview Play boxes. This also includes viewers who have a Netgem receiver as part of their internet service provider’s TV service. Gusto TV is already available through Samsung TV Plus and Pluto TV.
The self-proclaimed “world’s most innovative linear food television channel” originates from Canada. In recent years it has been growing its international reach via online streaming services.
Chris Knight, CEO and President of Gusto Worldwide Media said: “Netgem TV guarantees the best viewing experience possible by uniting all the linear and VoD content users want into one easy-to-use interface. With the addition of Gusto TV, audiences will have access to world-class food programming at their fingertips.”
Netgem recently confirmed it is in partnership with TalkTalk for its next generation 4K TV service. This means new TalkTalk TV customers will soon get a Netgem receiver to use with the service. TalkTalk TV was previously based on the YouView platform.
