BT loses out
BT had been the exclusive rights owner of live Bundesliga in the UK for the last seven years. At the time, BT was aggressively purchasing broadcast rights to shore up its new sports channels. However, the telecoms company is now trying to offload its sports channels as it focuses on fibre broadband build-out.
