ITV1 and ITVX will have full coverage on Saturday 10th December from 6pm. In Scotland, streaming coverage is available on the STV Player.
With the move, ITV will hope to beat Sunday evening’s record viewing figures. A peak of 20.4 million viewers across TV and streaming watched ITV’s coverage of England v Senegal as the three lions secured their place in Saturday’s forthcoming quarter final. This is 1.7 million viewers higher than the peak audience for England v Wales. The match resulted in 10.8 million streaming requests.
For ITV, England v France will be its third England game of the World Cup. The BBC has shown two games featuring England (v Iran and Wales).
