On platforms where ITVX has already landed ahead of its official launch, you can livestream ITV’s existing six channels, plus 18 streaming only channels, with more to come.
The streaming channels, known in the industry as FAST channels (Free Ad-supported Streaming Television channels) include one dedicated to World Cup Classics, another one screening Christmas Movies and channels devoted to The Chase with Bradley Walsh (pictured) and crime drama Vera.
If you’re a Love Island fan, there are two channels – one featuring the UK show and one channel with back-to-back episodes from international versions of the show. The Saturday Night, Every Night channel showcases those big shiny floor Saturday night shows, including The Masked Singer.
For viewers who use sign language, ITVX has its own BSL channel – ITV Signed. And for those wanting to relax, ITV’s night-time mindfulness strand Unwind with ITV1 is now available 24/7 as a FAST channel.
The FAST channels are available in HD, although streaming quality is dependent on your internet connection. Unlike ITV’s live channels, you can’t watch from start and there isn’t a full schedule.
A number of these channels are pop-up channels, which will be replaced by other channels over the course of time. ITVX fully launches on 8th December, when further FAST channels are expected. The current roll-out situation is explained here.
