The free-to-air GREAT! Romance movie channel will be dedicated to screening feel good, romantic movies all day everyday.
Available on Sky satellite, Virgin Media cable, Freesat and in some areas on Freeview, the new channel promises back-to-back love stories.
GREAT! Romance will launch on Thursday 5th January 2023, taking over the broadcast slots currently occupied by GREAT! Movies Christmas.
Operated by Narrative Entertainment, GREAT! Romance will join sister channels GREAT! Movies and GREAT! Movies Action. The slot was previously used for GREAT! Movies Classics outside of the Christmas period.
During the autumn, the main GREAT! Movies channel was observed showing a number of older movies as part of a ‘classic movies season’, compensating for the loss of the classic movie channel.

From 5th January 2023, the channel will broadcast on:

- Freesat channel 303,
- Sky satellite channel 319
- Virgin Media cable channel 424.
