Samsung reshuffles TV Plus channels

12 April 2022
Samsung TV Plus

Channels from CNN, FreeSports to the Vevo Pop music channel have had a shuffle around on Samsung’s TV platform.

Services available on TV Plus have shuffled to new channel numbers to accommodate the ever growing number of channels streamed on its platform. Following the changes, each channel is now closely grouped by genre within a number range.

TV Plus is available on all latest Samsung smart TVs and on selected smartphones and tablets, providing access to over a hundred extra channels, some well-known, some very niche. These are delivered as live streams via the user’s internet connection.

Samsung smart TVs carry TV Plus channels by default on channel 4000 and above. Lower channel numbers are allocated to local terrestrial and satellite TV platforms. In the UK, depending on set-up, you’ll see either Freeview or Freesat channels on lower numbers, if your TV is connected to an aerial or satellite dish.
