Virgin Media has updated its Electronic Programme Guide to include access to the UK’s newest TV channel and continued its gradual switchover from SD to HD.
A week after most other providers, cable TV customers can now access the pre-launch preview of TalkTV on channel 627. The channel is available in HD only.
TalkTV officially launches at 7pm on Monday 25th April 2022. Daytime schedules consist of a simulcast with talkRADIO.

Following a recent upgrade to HD on satellite, Virgin Media has made QVC HD and QVC Style HD available to its customers. The HD channels replace the old standard definition services.
QVC HD is now available on Virgin Media channel 740. QVC Style HD is on channel 742. Only QVC Beauty currently remains in standard definition.
All changes were made overnight and should be automatically applied across all supported Virgin Media receivers. Despite broadcasting in HD, Virgin hasn’t yet relabelled the channels as HD.
