Cable TV customers using the Virgin 360 TV box can now access Disney’s streaming service after a long wait for the app to arrive.
Disney+ became available on Virgin Media’s Stream IPTV product earlier this year, while existing cable TV customers were forced to wait.
The streaming app has long since been available across a range of rival platforms, smart TVs and dongles following the UK launch of Disney+ in 2020.
But now, Virgin 360 users no longer need to use a separate device to access the ‘House of Mouse’, which includes content from Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic.
The Disney+ app is now listed alongside existing streaming apps within the Apps menu. Or users can use voice control: Press the microphone button on the remote and ask for “Disney Plus”.
Disney+ is currently available for £7.99 a month or £79.90 for an annual subscription.
