The BBC has identified three gremlins affecting iPlayer users on some devices.
The first problem affects navigation on the BBC iPlayer TV app.
Directional buttons aren’t always working, mainly on the schedule page or when trying to select individual episodes or series of a programme. The BBC hasn’t yet found a solution.
Meanwhile Chromecast users have reported black flashes on iPlayer programme playback. Google is working on a firmware update to resolve the issue.
And users of 14 Samsung TV models may find they crash out of the BBC iPlayer when attempting to watch a programme.
