Channel 4 has struck a deal with Disney to offer US drama series box sets, including Bones, Empire, Scandal and The X Files.
This latest deal will add over 1,000 hours of iconic American drama to Channel 4’s streaming platform.
The news comes as US media giants return to sub-licensing deals – allowing third-parties to screen their content – as cost pressures mount. Previously, companies like Disney were increasingly moving all of their content behind their own streaming services. Amazon recently announced they were going to make some Prime Video shows available to other broadcasters.
Which shows from the Disney programme library will be available on Channel 4 Streaming?
