Hisense integrates Sky’s NOW streaming app

Sky’s entry-level streaming service NOW is available on current Hisense TV ranges in the UK.

  • Software update issued to upgrade affected TVs.
  • Will allow full access to NOW’s Entertainment, Sports and Cinema Memberships.

Hisense has announced the integration of NOW into its smart TVs across the UK by means of a software update. The update promises to offer Hisense TV viewers easy access to NOW’s TV shows, movies and sports.

The NOW integration is rolling out across all of Hisense’s 2022 and current 2023 ranges. This also includes the newest Mini LED series – the U7K.


▶ NOW: Channels and Memberships


Yesterday, Hisense was named as the first TV manufacturer to partner with free-to-air platform operator Everyone TV for the streaming service Freely. That will be added to 2024 models.

Arun Bhatoye, Head of Marketing at Hisense UK, commented:

“We are delighted to bring NOW to our range of TV models. This seamless collaboration signifies our commitment to offering an expansive range of entertainment choices to our customers. NOW’s diverse content lineup aligns perfectly with our goal to enhance the viewing experience for all, and comes at a perfect time for viewers to enjoy all of this over the festive period.”

Broadcast changes

The following channel has switched from terrestrial broadcast to HbbTV hybrid streaming.

  • 205: POP [COM4/SDN]

The existing terrestrial linear broadcast of POP is closing and moves to channel 790 [COM6/ArqB] following a retune.

Multiplex change

Depending on your device, you may need to retune to continue watching this channel. It may be longer available in your area.

  • 287: Nolly Africa Hybrid streaming channel moves from COM4/SDN to Local/Comux.
