Sky Q users can now access ITV’s streaming service ITVX, after an upgrade which began roll-out across devices on Thursday.
ITV confirmed initial reports with the addition of Sky Q on its official list of supported devices. ITVX live streams are also available on Sky Q, putting the platform ahead of others where this functionality is missing.
Live streams allow viewers to access ITV’s main channels plus a selection of 20 streaming-only services. The streams include dedicated channels devoted to The Chase, Inspector Morse, Midsomer Murders and Vera.
In addition, ITVX contains most ITV programmes on a catch-up basis, plus a comprehensive programme library with ITVX Exclusives. Premium subscribers also have access to BritBox UK, plus reduced advertising.

This means that viewers with a smart TV or box that supports Freeview Play, BT / YouView are still without access to the extra live stream functionality.
