Motorvision.TV confirms its launch on the Freeview-based streaming platform Channelbox, available on channel 271.
Motorvision.TV is a channel targeting “all fans of driving fun, driving culture and motor sports”.
Raimund Köhler, CEO of Motorvision Group confirmed the channel will offer coverage of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series race from Brands Hatch, as well as the entire Legends Cars Championship.
It’s the latest addition to Channelbox, which offers a portal of ad-funded streaming channels on Freeview 271. It’s available free of charge to viewers with a compatible connected Freeview device. This includes all Freeview Play TVs and boxes connected to the internet.
Currently, Channelbox offers over 70 extra channels to Freeview users via the portal.
Streaming platforms now use HbbTV to deliver the service to viewers, meaning services launch faster and can offer HD quality streams if supported by the channel and the user’s internet speed.
