Two of QVC’s Freeview channels are moving multiplexes as part of an unannounced change taking place on Freeview.
QVC Beauty and QVC Style are in the process of moving, which means viewers may need to retune to continue watching both channels.
As before, both QVC Beauty and Style are timeshared. But viewers with a connected Freeview TV can access all QVC channels via the red button on channel 16. The QVC+ streamed service is available in HD, subject to internet speed.
▶ To retune or not to retune?
- If QVC Beauty and Style appear on channels 37/38 and channels 790/791, your TV or Freeview box has been retuned/has retuned itself. The copies on 790/791 are the old versions of the channels and will close shortly.
- If QVC Style and QVC Beauty have popped up in the 800s, you’ll need to do a full rescan to get them moved to the correct channel numbers.
- If you’re not sure if you need to retune, and lose QVC Style and Beauty in May, you’ll need to retune then to restore the channels.
