The streaming service, which also carries a range of live sports to subscribers in the UK, arrives on Roku as part of a new multi-year partnership.
Roku users in the UK can now access live sports including the UEFA EURO 2024 Qualifiers, LaLiga and Scottish Cup, United Rugby Championship and NHL ice hockey with a Viaplay Total subscription.
Viaplay’s films and series pack includes titles such as Face to Face with Lars Mikkelsen (House of Cards); the acclaimed Danish series White Sands and Seaside Hotel; plus The Bridge.
The addition of Viaplay on Roku is part of a wider three-country deal between the two companies that also includes the USA and Canada. For Roku users in the USA and Canada, Viaplay only includes films, series and documentaries.
