Premium streaming service Apple TV+ will be available for free to all users for one weekend only, with just one requirement.
- Viewers will be able to sample shows including Shrinking, Bad Sisters, Dark Matter, Presumed Innocent and Ted Lesso.
- Freebie starts Friday 3rd January.
Apple TV+ will be available for free during the first weekend of 2025 (Friday 3rd January until Sunday 5th January) on any device where Apple TV+ is available.
The only requirement: viewers need an Apple ID to login to the service.
Apple TV+ has struggled to gain traction in a streaming market dominated by Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video, despite a number of popular titles.
With the free streaming weekend, it will hope to attract more audiences to the platform.
Viewers will be able to catch-up on shows released on Apple TV+ since its launch including The Morning Show, Ted Lasso, Silo, Shrinking, Bad Sisters, Dark Matter, Presumed Innocent, For All Mankind, Slow Horses and Disclaimer. Season one of Severence is also included, ahead of the new season starting later in January.
An Apple TV+ subscription normally costs £8.99 a month.
