Viewers missed key moments of the 2024 Paralympics Opening Ceremony from Paris as broadcaster switches away for adverts.
- Channel 4’s first break came just 10 minutes into the live coverage.
- It was the first of many interruptions, leading to hundreds of complaints on social media.
Channel 4 was roundly criticised by viewers on Wednesday evening, with its coverage of the Paralympics Opening Ceremony frequently interrupted by adverts.
The first ad-break came just 10 minutes into the live coverage, with further ad-breaks interrupting coverage of the arrival of the 168-nation delegation, with fans missing the entrance of a number of countries.
Viewers took to social media to find they were not alone in thinking the ad-breaks were overkill. It caused Channel 4 to trend online for all the wrong reasons.
