New and existing Sky customers will pay new prices from April 2024. Earlier this month, Sky confirmed prices will rise by an average of 6.7%. Broadband, TV and phone services will all be increasing in price.
Following an announcement by Sky’s Chief Operating Officer, Devesh Raj earlier this month, a more detailed breakdown of the headline price rises has been confirmed.
This confirms a whole range of price rises for various products offered by Sky.
Important notes for existing customers
All price increases listed below are per month per product versus the current standard price. Not all customers will be on standard pricing.
- As existing customers may still be on promotional, retention deals or legacy products no longer on sale to new customers, different price rises may apply.
- Sky is sending existing customers a personalised email detailing price changes based on the products or bundles you subscribe to. The price change notification should be received at least one month before the price changes take place. Not received it? Check your junk/spam folders or contact Sky.
New customers
- New customers signing up before April will see prices increase on 1st April. This means any advertised promotional prices will only be valid until 31st March. Customers signing up for a 18 or 24 month contract will also see price increases in April 2025.

Sky won’t increase your price during your current contract. However, when your contract ends, new pricing will apply. Any price rises are therefore linked to your contact ending, not the annual April rise that applies to other products. The exception being if your Sky Mobile contract ends in April, you’ll be receiving notification of price changes soon.
Sky has stressed that it’s average price rises are lower than those planned by its rivals. Virgin Media O2 is increasing prices by 8.8% this April.
