TNT v Sky v DAZN: How to watch Joshua v Dubois in the UK

Viewers can choose between DAZN, Sky and TNT Box Office for live coverage of the heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.

  • On 21st September, all three main pay-per-view providers will offer their own coverage.
  • Sky Sports Box Office and TNT Sports Box Office available to non-subscribers.
  • DAZN PPV coverage available to DAZN subscribers.

On 21st September, both Sky and TNT Sports Box Office as well as DAZN will be showing live coverage of the all-British heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois for the IBF world heavyweight title, live from London’s Wembley Stadium.

Coverage of the event starts at 16:00, with a live performance from Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher also planned ahead of the main event.

Sky is charging £19.95, while TNT Sports and DAZN will charge £19.99.

The presence of Sky, TNT and DAZN for the Joshua v Dubois clash means most viewers should be able to watch in some way or other. Here’s an overview.

▶ How to watch Joshua v Dubois if you’ve got Sky, EE TV, Prime Video or Discovery+

Watch on Sky Sports Box Office (Sky subscribers)

Sky Sports Box Office is already selling access to the event. Visit https://www.sky.com/boxoffice for more information.

If you buy online, then your access will be for the online live stream and you won’t be able to watch it on your Sky Q, Sky Stream or Sky Glass box.

Sky Q
  • Sky Sports Box Office is available on channel 491. Go to 491 and press green.
  • From 14th September, you’ll also be able to purchase via the Sky Sports Box Office destination on Sky Q by navigating to Sports and the Box Office.
Sky Stream and Sky Glass
  • From 13th September, press home on your Sky remote, select the event from the menu and then enter your Sky PIN if enabled or select Purchase.

Warning: Sky Glass and Sky Stream users may experience a lag of up to 40 seconds during the live event.

Watch on TNT Sports Box Office (EE TV, Discovery+, Prime Video)

From the 13th September, you’ll be able buy access through TNT Sports Box Office.

EE TV

You can order an event on TNT Sports Box Office on channel 494 or via EE TV Player on your EE TV box and following the on-screen instructions.

However, you can only buy TNT Sports Box Office events on your EE TV box, not online or over the phone.

You need to have fibre broadband to order and watch via your EE TV Box. If you have copper broadband, you can still order and watch via the TNT Sports Box Office app instead.

Discovery+

TNT Sports Box Office events are available to purchase and watch in the discovery+ app – on smart TVs, computers or mobile devices.

From 13th September, viewers wanting to watch the fight should visit https://www.discoveryplus.com/gb/ppv-purchases. Follow instructions to subscribe and then purchase the event.

Prime Video

Customers do not need to have any channel or Prime subscription to access this event.

Find live and upcoming PPV events in the “Live and upcoming events” row on the Prime Video homepage and sports page, or by searching for a specific event title from 13th September.

Online Streams are subject to a slight lag behind the live broadcast. Discovery+ hasn’t confirmed how much this lag will be.


▶ How to watch on Virgin Media UK, NOW, PC/Laptop (Non-Sky subscribers)

Virgin Media

At least five days before the event, Virgin Media TV customers will be able to order access to the event on SKy Sports Box Office

  • On TiVo and V6 Boxes, go to home > on-demand > live events
  • On TV360 and Stream boxes, go to home > Pay Per View events rail.

For further information and instructions, please visit the Virgin Media Support site.

Your access is limited to Virgin Media’s platform – so you can’t go and watch the event on another device instead.

With Sky Sports Box Office on NOW/PC/Laptop/Mac

The streaming device you’re watching on needs to have the Sky Sports Box Office app. This is available on Android/iOS as well as on NOW Smart Sticks, NOW Black boxes and NOW Smart Box (1st and 2nd gen, excluding white box)

Using a PC, laptop or Mac? You can stream online through sports.skyboxoffice.com

  • If you don’t have already have a Box Office account, you’ll be able to sign up and buy the fight from Friday 6th September.
  • If you do have a Sky Box Office account, log in and follow the prompts.

New customers – How to order:

Visit https://sports.skyboxoffice.com

  • If you don’t have a Box Office account, select “Buy now for £19.95 / €24.95 (ROI) “
  • Select “Sign up”
  • Select “New to Sky Box Office” and “continue to checkout”
  • Enter your personal and card details and pay.
  • You’ll also have seven days of unlimited access to watch back the fights from when the event begins.

Your access is limited to Sky Sports Box Office streaming – you can’t go and watch the event on another device like a Sky Q.

How to buy DAZN Pay Per View   

Currently, you can buy Pay Per View events with any major credit or debit cards.

Pay Per View events are only available to customers who already have a DAZN subscription. The following instructions assume you are a DAZN subscriber.

  • On your laptop or computer, sign in to DAZN on a web browser.  
  • Go to My Account where you can buy the event.   
Smart TV
  • You’ll need to use your mobile or laptop to buy the event. You won’t be able to buy the event direct on your TV.  
  • Go to dazn.com on your web browser.   
  • Go to My Account where you can buy the event.  
iOS Mobile App, Android Mobile App, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick & App, Roku Stick & App
  • You will be directed to buy the event via in-app purchase.
  • You will pay for the event via Apple in-app purchase, Google Play Billing, Amazon in-app purchase or Roku Pay
