Cable TV viewers in the UK now have access to all three of That’s TV classic entertainment channels, joining satellite and Freeview viewers.
- Virgin Media TV viewers can for the first time access the full set of classic UK TV shows and music shows from That’s TV.
- Programme highlights include Yes, Minster, Benny Hill and Goodnight Sweetheart.
Virgin Media cable TV or streaming TV subscribers across the UK can now access all three That’s TV channels in one place.
The That’s TV network is best known for offering a variety of classic and retro programming. It’s part of the growing trend of “nostalgia TV” channels in the UK, which aim to bring back some of the most beloved content from previous decades.
Until now, Virgin Media viewers were missing the full set of three retro entertainment channels. That’s now changed with the arrival of That’s TV 2. Additionally, sister channel That’s Christmas is promoted to the entertainment section.
Programme highlights on That’s TV 2 include the Brittas Empire, Yes Minister and Little Britain. Daytime schedules are dominated by 1980s music videos.
That’s Christmas, which has effectively replaced That’s TV 3 for the festive season, is the home of Goodnight Sweetheart, Never The Twain and Benny Hill. It will also offer various seasonal specials in the run up to Christmas. Back-to-back festive music videos are on offer during the day.
Where to find That’s TV on Virgin Media
That’s TV’s existing channel on Virgin Media channel 150 is now joined by That’s TV 2 on channel 151. Meanwhile, That’s Christmas has moved from the music section to channel 152.
That’s TV originally launched as a local TV operator on Freeview. It then launched a national channel in 2021. That’s TV 2 launched on Sky, Freesat and Freeview in January 2024. 11 months late to the party, Virgin Media viewers missed out on the brief revival of classic Home and Away. That’s TV 3 (briefly known as That’s Memories) launched in the summer.
