Live games from Italy’s top football league will be available on the sports streaming service across the UK and Ireland, with exclusive rights of up to eight matches per round.
- Part of wide-ranging deal, which also includes highlights for the Serie A Championship, Coppa Italia and Supercopa Italiana.
- TNT Sports previously held comprehensive coverage of Series A in the UK and Ireland.
For the 2025/26 season, DAZN will stream every Serie A Championship match in the UK and Ireland and the US, alongside highlight rights across most global territories.
Specifically, in the UK and Ireland, DAZN will show up to eight matches per round on an exclusive basis. Two games will be shown on a non-exclusive basis.
DAZN has made a name for itself elsewhere in the world for its live football coverage of top leagues. Not so in the UK and Ireland, where it’s not been as successful in securing rights. Here, Series A is the first major European men’s football league to become available via the streaming service.
In addition to live coverage, DAZN has acquired highlight rights for the Serie A Championship, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana across nearly every country worldwide – excluding only Italy, Republic of San Marino, Vatican City and the Middle East/North Africa region.
Deal U-turn?
The deal is remarkable, as only just a year ago, Serie A signed a deal with TNT Sports which according to reports was actually due to run until 2026-27.
Prior to TNT Sports gaining coverage, its predecessor BT Sport carried live coverage. A selection of live games have previously also appeared on ITV4 and ITVX.
Two matches in each round will be shown on DAZN on a non-exclusive basis, meaning some games can still appear elsewhere on UK and Irish TV screens.
DAZN is a streaming-only service. It originally carried some of its output on Sky satellite. That arrangement ended last summer.
