The BBC will show Quarter Final games featuring Brighton & Hove Albion and Preston North End, while ITV bags Fulham and Bournemouth fixtures.
- Coverage of the games on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th March.
The FA has confirmed how the BBC and ITV will split coverage of the FA Cup Quarter Finals for the final time.
Games will be played over the weekend of Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th March, meaning fans will need to remember the clock change on Sunday to avoid missing the start of the matches.
BBC One and ITV1 will show two games each, beginning with ITV1’s coverage of Fulham v Crystal Palace’s lunchtime kick-off on Saturday 29th March. Viewers in central and northern Scotland can watch all ITV games via STV.
This is ITV’s final season carrying the FA Cup. ITV bosses looking at recent viewing figures will regret the broadcaster’s loss of rights from next season. Its coverage of Plymouth Argyle’s departure from this year’s competition resulted in ITV breaking new records on ITV4. The channel attracted its best ever daily audience share since it launched 20 years ago. TNT Sports will share the rights with the BBC from next season.
