ITV is launching free-to-air channel ITV Quiz on Monday 9 June with one glaring omission from its launch line-up of shows.
- ITV Quiz will show some of ITV’s best known modern quiz and game shows.
- Wheel of Fortune, Tipping Point, Lingo and others on air for up to 16 hours a day.
- Available on all major TV platforms, including Freeview and Sky.
Adil Ray’s Lingo will become the first show to air on ITV’s new gameshow channel ITV Quiz, which launches on Monday.
The channel was first announced back in April. It’ll replace ITVBe and coincides with a revamp of ITV2.
ITV Quiz will become the home of most of ITV’s modern day quiz and game shows. The launch day includes the first episode of the Graham Norton-era of Wheel of Fortune and the first episodes of ITV’s reboot of Deal or No Deal with Stephen Mulhern.
But fans of ITV’s iconic gameshow The Chase, which has been part of ITV’s schedules since 2009 look set to be disappointed. The show, hosted by Bradley Walsh, won’t be appearing on the channel for now. Instead, rival quiz channel Challenge will continue to broadcast episodes each weeknight from 8pm. Meanwhile, ITVX continues to offer a dedicated streaming channel for The Chase, for viewers who’d rather watch online.
Other afternoon favourites including Tenable, Lingo and Tipping Point will be available on the channel, which will offer wall-to-wall quiz and game shows from 9am until around 1am every day. Primetime favourite Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? also features on the new channel.
New channel brings changes elsewhere…
ITV tested the water for a new quiz channel by introducing a strand of game shows on ITV2 each evening. Most recently, the channel has been screening three hours of game shows. After the launch of ITV Quiz, ITV2 will continue to feature two hours of game shows from 6-8pm from Monday 9th July, with a Stephen Mulhern double bill of Celebrity Catchphrase and Deal or No Deal.
Meanwhile, Challenge – until now the UK’s only quiz/game show channel – continues to showcase some of ITV’s older shows, including the classic Bullseye, Vernon Kay-era All Star Family Fortunes as well as The Chase.
U&W will continue to show older episodes of Tipping Point, but not during the hours it’s being shown on ITV Quiz.
Where to find ITV Quiz on your TV
ITV Quiz will automatically take over ITVBe’s broadcast slots on all major UK TV platforms on Monday 9 June 2025.
You’ll find ITV Quiz on the following channel numbers:
- Freeview channel 28
- Sky satellite channel 131
- Sky Stream channel 125
- Virgin Media channel 119
- Freesat channel 119

ITV Quiz is available in HD on all platforms, except Freeview.
Freeview TVs may initially display an incorrect label (i.e. still show the channel as ITVBe), as some devices will not re-label a channel until it’s been retuned.
