Sky Sports unveils 2025 F1 coverage plans

With the 2025 Formula 1 season set to begin in Melbourne on 16th March, Sky Sports is making some changes to its coverage.

  • Jamie Chadwick joins on-screen team
  • New Tuesday F1 show.
  • Expansion of content on Skysports.com and TikTok

Sky Sports is to expand F1 coverage on social media platforms as it prepares to deliver coverage of all 24 F1 races in 2025. It follows a record-breaking year for F1 on Sky, which saw the pay TV broadcaster break its F1 audience records.

On screen team

  • New Addition: Three-time W Series champion and 2025 European Le Mans Series pro-driver, Jamie Chadwick joins the team this year, adding fresh insight and expertise to the coverage.
  • Continued appearances from World Champions & experts: Previous Formula 1 World Champions Jenson Button, Nico Rosberg, and Jacques Villeneuve, alongside a star-studded lineup of experts, analysts, and motorsport personalities.

  • Pundits & Analysts: Martin Brundle OBE, Jenson Button, Nico Rosberg, Jacques Villeneuve, Naomi Schiff, Bernie Collins, Karun Chandhok, Danica Patrick, Jamie Chadwick and Anthony Davidson
  • Presenters & Reporters: Simon Lazenby, Natalie Pinkham, Ted Kravitz, Rachel Brookes and Craig Slater
  • Commentators: David Croft and Harry Benjamin

Coverage Overview

  • Onboard cameras for every driver: F1 fans are able to select an onboard live stream of any of the 20 drivers – complete with team radio messages – for every race, sprint, qualifying and practice. [Not available on older Sky+HD receivers. Requires internet connection.]
  • The Grid Walk: Exclusive pre-race insights and VIP interviews from the track, approximately 30 minutes before lights out.
  • Ted’s Notebook: Returning with deep-dive analysis and the latest from the paddock with Ted Kravitz, airing post-race on Sundays.
  • The F1 Show: More episodes of The F1 Show in 2025 where on Fridays we’ll be previewing the race ahead and bring you the latest news live from the paddock on Sky Sports F1. Then, brand new for 2025, Simon Lazenby, Bernie Collins, and Ted Kravitz will be with you on Tuesdays to break down all the action from the weekend and take on fan questions -available on YouTube or as an audio listen for fans on the go.
  • Enhanced digital presence: Continued expansion of content across Sky Sports F1 social channels and the Sky Sports.com website, including the recently launched Sky Sports F1 TikTok channel.
  • Ultra High Definition (UHD) viewing: Bringing fans the sharpest, most immersive F1 experience.

Sky will continue to offer live coverage of all F1 races until at least the end of the 2029 season.

Sky Sports F1 is available directly through Sky on satellite, Stream/Glass or NOW, where the channel is available on a contract-free day membership pass. The channel’s also available via third-party platforms including EE TV (via NOW) and Virgin Media.

  • 49: 4seven is moving from COM5/ArqA to PSB2/D3&4. The channel will have increased UK coverage, plus full coverage in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. After a retune, existing 4seven viewers may see the old copy of 4seven appear on channel 790.
