BBC confirms free-to-air coverage of fourth round FA Cup games

Aston Villa v Newcastle United and Hull City v Chelsea to be available free-to-air.

Up to three live games will be available on a free-to-air basis in the UK as TV coverage details of the FA Cup fourth round emerge.

BBC Wales to screen Wrexham v Ipswich
Two streaming-only games – includes Stoke City v Fulham
Aston Villa v Newcastle United in prime Saturday night slot on BBC One

The BBC has secured live coverage of FA Cup fourth round games featuring Wrexham, Hull City and Aston Villa.

Wrexham’s home game versus Ipswich Town will be screened by BBC One Wales on Friday 13 February, kick-off at 19:45. For viewers outside of Wales, coverage will be available across the UK via the iPlayer and selected other TV platforms, including Sky and Freesat.

Simultaneously, network BBC will cover Hull City v Chelsea on BBC One and iPlayer.

For Saturday 14 February, the BBC will hope viewers fall in love with its choice of Valentine’s Day FA Cup action. Aston Villa v Newcastle United is live on BBC One, kick-off 17:45. Highlights of all FA Cup games follow on Match of the Day later that evening.

Streaming-only fourth-round games


Two of Sunday’s fourth round fixtures will be streaming only via Discovery+. Stoke City v Fulham and Oxford United v Sunderland AFC is exclusive for users with a TNT Sports tier subscription. You won’t be able to access coverage through the Entertainment (ex-Basic) tier, included with Sky subscriptions.

All other televised games in the UK are live on either TNT Sports 1 or TNT Sports 3. Full details below.
