Sports streamer DAZN, best known for Boxing and Serie A, gains further traction in the UK with EE TV adding the app to subscribers.
- DAZN app on EE TV Box Pro and EE TV Box Edge
- EE deal follows previous agreements with Virgin Media and Sky.
EE has become the last of the three main UK pay TV providers to add support for the DAZN sports app. Available via the EE TV Box Pro and EE TV Box Edge customers, the app is now live via the Apps Rail.
The deal means EE TV customers can now access sporting highlights including over 185 fight nights per year from top promotors including Matchroom, Queenberry and more.
Football fans can enjoy over 300 live games per season from Italy’s Serie A league. DAZN is also the home to live coverage of all 14 LIV Golf events each year.
To access DAZN, EE TV customers require a DAZN subscription. Billing will be handled by DAZN, not EE. Subscription packages start from £14.99 a month.
Through add-on subscriptions, there’s extra live coverage from the NFL and NHL.
DAZN has become a major player in sports streaming worldwide, in the UK less so due to missing out on some of the biggest sports rights.
DAZN launched in the UK at the end of 2020, before launching a linear channel on Sky in 2023. The linear channel was subsequently dropped, but Sky made the DAZN app available across various devices. Virgin Media also teamed up DAZN in 2023, rolling out the app to its customers shortly thereafter.
DAZN Subscription Options
DAZN offers a choice of subscription tiers:
- DAZN Standard – £14.99 per month
- DAZN Ultimate – £24.99 per month (includes 12 boxing pay-per-view events)
Individual add-on subscriptions for:
- NFL Game Pass,
- NHL.TV,
