More 4 becomes a dedicated team sports channel for the Tokyo Paralympics, with Channel 4 to screen over 1,300 hours of coverage across its outlets.
Live presentation will be split between Leeds and Tokyo. With Tokyo eight hours ahead of BST, More 4 will show coverage of all Team Sports in a seven hour daytime block, starting from 07:00. Live presentation will be split between Leeds and Tokyo.
At the end of each day, The Last Leg, which debuted at London 2012, will return for a nightly run.
In total, 300 hours of coverage will be shown on Channel 4 and More 4, and 1,000 hours of coverage through online streaming. ParalympicsGB will have 228 athletes competing in 19 of the 22 sports.
The Paralympics run from 24th August – 5th September 2021. Unlike the Olympics, Channel 4 has full and exclusive UK rights, so will be able to offer full coverage. Channel 4 has been the home of the Paralympics since London 2012.
Coverage begins at 11:00 on Tuesday 24th August, with live coverage of the Opening Ceremony with Ade Adepitan and Baroness Grey-Thompson.
