Existing BT Sport subscribers will automatically rollover to TNT Sports. But there are new ways to watch, while the old BT Sport app will continue to work until later this year.
TNT Sports has gone live this morning throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland, replacing BT Sport. The sports broadcaster, created by merging BT and Warner Bros Discovery’s sports business, says it will offer an “enhanced value proposition for customers and flexible ways to watch.”
Channels delisted from Sky’s satellite service include the international service of Pakistan’s state-owned broadcaster, PTV.
The BBC Scotland channel will remain the home of Scottish Championship coverage with BBC One Scotland retaining Premiership Highlights.
Viewers in the Republic of Ireland can now sign up to Sky Stream, providing access to Sky’s internet based TV service without needing a Sky Glass TV.
In 2024, 83 TV channels will need to broadcast subtitles, audio description and in-vision signing on at least some of their broadcasts. That’s down from 93 channels in 2023.

The Ofcom EPG Code sets out that Electronic Programme Guides should feature magnification, high contrast displays, filtering or highlighting and text-to-speech functionality.
Broadcast regulator Ofcom has proposed tougher new rules on broadcasters providing access services, including subtitles, signing and audio description. The proposed changes would also affect on-demand services including NOW and Amazon Prime.
