Use the tuning parameters on this page to manually add ITV and STV channels to any HD (DVB-S2) satellite receiver in the UK and Ireland tuned to the Astra 28.2°E satellite. (Any HD system set up for Sky or Freesat is suitable).
How to use this information:
- Select a category below. Use the different parameters listed, such as “frequency” and “symbol rate” to tune your receiver. Multiple services are broadcast together on the same frequency.
- Symbol rates may appear differently on some receivers. For example “23000” becomes “23.0 Mbaud” on some receivers.
- The padlock symbol 🔓 denotes STV regional services unavailable on Freesat or other free-to-air receivers.

ITV1, STV and UTV
ITV1 and UTV are HD only. STV is currently transitioning to HD by default (see next section for legacy SD channels).
The channels are broadcast in the following ‘groups’.

ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, ITV Quiz, STV SD and +1 channels
ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and ITV Quiz are HD only. (ITV Quiz is labelled without the HD suffix on Freesat).
+1 channels are SD only. STV still offers STV North (Dundee) and East (Edinburgh) in SD, as the HD versions of these channels are still encrypted.
